The Research Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Banco de la República de Colombia co-organized a conference on recent developments in the analysis of current account sustainability. The event took place on April 18, 2017 at the IDB headquarters in Washington D.C. The purpose of the conference was to bring together group economists from central banks, finance ministries, international organizations, and academics to discuss recent developments and new perspectives on the analysis of current account sustainability.
Confirmed Keynote speakers were Ruy Lama (IMF), Sebnem Kalemli-Özcan (University of Maryland), and Jeffrey Frankel (Harvard University).
