Users of the Cash Windows in Villavicencio and Bucaramanga now have an additional Cash Exchange Point

Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia) announces that, as of 10 January 2025, the company Transbank has been providing cash exchange services through a cash window operating at the following locations and opening hours:

  • Villavicencio, Meta
    Carrera 31 #37-32, Los Centauros Shopping Center, Unit 116
  • Bucaramanga, Santander
    Carrera 17 A # 58-172
  • Horario de atención:
    Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:30 to 17:00
    Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:30

This initiative has expanded cash exchange options in Villavicencio and Bucaramanga and will facilitate the implementation of a plan to modernize the physical infrastructure of the branch offices. Consequently, Banco de la República will reduce its cash window service operations to four days per week.

Starting on 03 March 2025, the opening hours of the cash windows at the branch offices in Villavicencio and Bucaramanga will be as follows: 

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:30 to 13:30
