Results of the Survey on the Perception of the Use of Instruments for Retail Payments in Colombia - 2020

Based on the methodological advice of the Office for Economic Studies, the Office for Industrial and Treasury Affairs of Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia) conducts a national survey on the provision of banknotes and coins and payment instruments (EPBMIP) every two years. The main purpose of this survey is to determine the general opinion of individuals (public) and merchants regarding their perception on the provision of cash (coins and banknotes) in the economy.
