Banco de la República announces new sponsorships for the Study Abroad Program

Banco de la República (the Central Bank of Colombia) announced that the 2023 call for the Study Abroad Program will offer two new master’s degree programs: Public Administration and Public Policy. Additionally, the sponsorship in PhD in Economics, Economic Law, and young talent (visual arts) will be maintained.

People interested in applying for some of these sponsorships may do so between 1 December  2022 and 28 April 2023. All the requirements and conditions are now available for applicants to check and start the application process early.

This program aims to promote the training of national professionals in such a way that the country can have a greater number of highly qualified teachers, researchers, officials, and artists. 

The available places will be distributed as follows:

3 places for people who have already been accepted in doctoral programs in Economics

2 places for people who have already been accepted in a Master’s degree program in Public Administration or in Public Policy

1 place in Economic Law

1 place in visual arts for young people

These places will be redistributed according to the methodology established by Banco de la República.
