Banco de la República has opened the call to sponsor graduate programs at foreign universities of recognized academic excellence for five candidates to PhD's in Economics, one master’s or PhD in Economic Law, and one graduate studies degree in Plastic Arts.

Starting in the second semester of 2021, the chosen applicant/s may start or continue a master's degree or doctorate program in Economic Law, a doctorate program in Economics, or begin a graduate degree in Plastic Arts abroad.

The key dates are:

  • Deadline for the delivery of digitized documents: 23 April 2021, at 4:00 p.m.
  • Deadline for the delivery of the digitized admission letter: 14 May 2021, at 4:00 p.m.
  • Publication of results: 17 June 2021.

Banco de la República’s study program abroad aims to contribute to the development of the country by promoting knowledge and research. In this regard, it contributes to train Colombian professionals so that the country may have a greater number of highly skilled teachers, researchers, public officials, and artists.
