Econolandia
Banco de la República’s (the Central Bank of Colombia) educational workshops for children and young people are a pedagogical tool that, through games and interaction, deepens all economic concepts necessary to understand the Central Bank’s objectives, functions, and decisions. It also contributes to understanding how these decisions are related to our daily life and well-being.
Through various methodologies and topics, classified by elementary and secondary school levels of education, the themes are integrated in a totally logical conceptual way and in accordance with the competencies students have been learning in their schools.
The five workshops proposed in the ECONOLANDIA project are designed for school students from 1st to 11th grade to achieve an understanding of the Central Bank’s nature, its objectives, purposes, and functions, using online games.
